My name is Jason Kataropoulos and I am a web developer and consultant living in Athens, Greece. It all started due to my enthusiasm about the web in 1995 when I was a simple Internet user. In 1997 I made my first web site as a home work project for my BSc in Electronic Engineering. It was immediately straight forward enough to anticipate that this was what I wanted to do for a living. A few months later I signed my first freelance project through an Athens based Internet company. Since then I have graduated from my MSc in Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems and have worked for hundreds of web projects in the UK and in Greece using several technologies and focusing on both client and server side programming. Over these years, the experience and the interaction with companies, clients and other people in the web business has matured my technical, consulting, communication and project management skills.
Because I have a passion for client side programming, user experience, accessibility and standards compliance. Having met and been fascinated by people working for W3C (Word Wide Web Consortium), my loyalty resides to it, believing that every web client side technology should go through its approval and specification.
Keep trying until its done the way I want it to be done!
My goal is to derive simple and easy to use web sites and applications.
Please feel free to browse around my Website and do drop a few lines if you feel like it.
I will always welcome any feedback.
